Job summary

Buro Happold seeks a Civil 3D Modeller to join its Infrastructure team in Bengaluru or Mumbai. You will produce and manage drawings, BIM models, calculations, and technical reports for infrastructure design across India.

Experience with AutoCAD 2D/Civil3D, Revit/InfraWorks, and GIS (QGIS) is essential. Collaboration with engineers and cross-disciplinary teams is required, with a focus on standards and BIM-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/Civil3D for pipelines, sections and layouts.
• Knowledge of Revit/InfraWorks and GIS (QGIS) is an advantage.
• Experience working in a BIM environment and in utilities design.

Responsibilities

• Understand project design and drafting standards and assist development of drawings and BIM models.
• Prepare detailed drawings and CAD models for infrastructure projects.

Got a flair of the complex? Buro Happold's Infrastructure team are looking for Civil 3D Modeller to join our vibrant and friendly team in Bengaluru/Mumbai.

Our working professionals form the building blocks of what we do and are key, valued members of the team. You will support the technical design of infrastructure projects, being responsible for co-ordination with other disciplines. You will support continuous improvement in our deliverables, through development of software and staff capabilities.

Work will involve the production and management of drawings, BIM models, calculations, concept & schematic sketches and technical reports for Infrastructure Engineering Design on a diverse range of exciting projects in India.

Your next role

• Project Planning stage: To understand design and drafting systems and standards and design development process for the project Preparation of basic site layouts, general arrangement drawings,
• Prepare Detailed Drawings: Create architectural/engineering designs and plans for various construction projects using CAD software. L section of the pipelines, grading, cut and fill calculations, etc.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineers, and construction teams to understand project requirements and ensure drawings meet project needs.
• Adhere to Standards: Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations

Your Skills And Experience

• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant working experience Extensive experience in working on AutoCAD 2D / Civil3D is necessary.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD (Latest Version) to prepare 2d/3d drawings including all type of Layouts/Cross sections/ L sections for Pipelines
• Knowledge of Revit/ infraworks and GIS software's such as Qgis will be added advantage
• Knowledge of latest CAD Standards for utilities with attention to detailing
• Experience in working in BIM environment.
• Good understanding of wet utilities
• Aware of the standards, best practices
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Should be able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal skills
