Exponent Energy is hiring a City Head for E-Pump Operations in Delhi. You will own the end-to-end operational performance and network excellence of the E-Pump network in the city, ensuring high uptime, charging quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience.

You will lead a team of about 20 direct and indirect personnel and collaborate with Business, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in asset-heavy businesses such as mobility, automotive, or EVs.
• B.Tech in any engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in managing multi-location operations and leading frontline teams.
• Strong operational, analytical, cost management, and problem-solving skills.
• High curiosity and hunger to learn EV technology, including charging systems.

• Drive proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Provide feedback to Product/Engineering to improve product reliability and performance.

Role Overview

Own the end-to-end operational performance and network excellence of Exponent Energy’s E-Pump network across the assigned city, ensuring high uptime, charging quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience. Lead a team of approximately 20 direct and indirect personnel while partnering with Business, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence and network optimization.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Network Uptime & Charging Quality

• Own E-Pump uptime, availability, reliability, and charging quality metrics across the city.
• Drive proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of operational issues.
• Provide actionable feedback to Product and Engineering teams to improve product reliability and performance.

Cost & Inventory Management

• Optimize operational costs across patrolling, planned maintenance, spare parts, and electricity bills.
• Ensure critical spare availability, efficient inventory management, and timely replenishment.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising uptime, safety, or charging quality.

Team Leadership & Operational Cadence

• Lead a team of approximately 20 direct and indirect personnel.
• Drive daily and weekly operational reviews, KPI tracking, accountability, and corrective action plans.
• Build a high-ownership culture focused on execution, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Network Optimization & Sales Enablement

• Drive E-Pump expansion, relocation, and consolidation based on city-level demand and business requirements.
• Partner with Sales to improve network availability, utilization, charging experience, and overall network excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational priorities with business growth.

• High curiosity and hunger to learn EV technology, including charging systems and electric mobility.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
