Airtel in Lucknow seeks a Circle Operations Head to ensure fault-free services across Mobility, B2B and Homes by operating and maintaining Transport, FTTH and MPLS networks. You will oversee Fibre KM readiness, IRU-KMs, and POPs, while driving new implementations and cost efficiency.

The role demands strategic business acumen, execution excellence and strong leadership to guide a newly formed, multi-technology operations team through evolving customer needs.

• Conduct preventive maintenance of OSP/ISP per schedule.
• Aim to reduce network maintenance costs.
• Develop teams and build a pipeline for NMT/ISP/AMs.
• Drive adoption of digital tools across the network.
• Ensure quality of work per specifications.

Job description

The role of Circle Operations Head is to ensure fault free services to all Mobility/B2B/ Homes customers, by implementing, operating and maintaining the OSP/ISP of Transport, FTTH & MPLS Networks in the circle. To ensure service delivery to all Mobility/B2B/Homes customers from Transport/FTTH/MPLS Network along with new implementation and to maintain Transmission & MPLS network of circle : Fibre KM’s, IRU-KM’s & IP-1 KM’s , Nos of own POP, Nos of Network elements & No. of Home-passes.

Deliverables

• Reduce & sustain Network faults both SA & NSA by as per respective circle targets for Mobility, Homes & B2B.
• To meet the deadlines of MTTR for service impacting faults.
• Creating network diversities & robustness to avoid services impact.
• New deliveries by Fibre readiness/ patching/tapings for B2B/Homes/Mobility customers & new projects.
• Preventive maintenance of OSP/ISP as per schedule.
• Network maintenance cost reduction.
• Team Development & pipeline creation for NMT/ISP/AMs
• Driving the adaption of digital tools.
• Ensure quality of work as per specifications.

Educational Level

Qualification-

B.E/B.Tech with 15-17 years of experience in OSP/ISP of Transport, FTTH & MPLS Networks .

Experience of handling large Field operations org

Effective communication/interpersonal skills to manage team and customer
