Job summary

Devgn Cinex in Thane is seeking a seasoned cinema operations leader to drive overall performance, revenue and guest experience. You will oversee the cinema team, ensure compliance, and coordinate with central functions to uphold premium service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline. MBA/PGDM or Hospitality qualification will be an added advantage.
• 10-15 years of experience in operations, with 4-5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in Multiplexes, 5-Star Hospitality, Premium Retail, QSR, or Entertainment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations and performance of the cinema, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Own revenue, profitability and P&L for the property and drive business growth.
• Ensure excellent guest experience, service standards and operational excellence.
• Manage and develop the complete cinema team, including recruitment, training, performance and engagement.
• Monitor F&B, ticketing, sales, occupancy and other revenue streams to achieve business targets.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, security, statutory and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with central teams such as HR, Finance, Marketing, F&B and Projects for smooth operations.
• Drive cost control, productivity and effective manpower utilisation.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
• Lead new initiatives and ensure the cinema maintains premium service and brand standards.
