Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a site engineer to manage MEP coordination in Mumbai. You will execute and supervise Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV and related building services on site, ensuring alignment with approved GFC drawings, specifications and method statements.

Requirements include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE/DEME), and 2-5 years of experience in MEP coordination on construction projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma holders with relevant MEP coordination exposure.
• 2-5 years of experience in MEP coordination on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise MEP works including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and related building services.
• Plan daily site activities, manpower deployment, material planning, and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinate with Civil, Finishes, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Design teams for seamless execution and interface management.
• Verify measurements, support billing activities, maintain site documentation, testing & commissioning, and timely handover of MEP systems.

Job Description

Execute and supervise Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) works including Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and associated building services as per approved GFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements. Plan and monitor daily site activities, manpower deployment, material planning, and subcontractor performance to achieve project milestones. Coordinate with Civil, Finishes, QA/QC, Planning, Procurement, and Design teams for seamless execution and interface management. Ensure compliance with approved specifications, inspection procedures, testing & commissioning requirements, and quality standards. Monitor productivity, material reconciliation, progress, and workmanship while resolving technical and execution-related issues. Verify measurements, support billing activities, maintain site documentation, conduct inspections, snag identification and closure, testing & commissioning, and ensure timely handover of MEP systems within project schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
