Job summary

remote zest jobs is seeking a Regional Account Chief UW GB to lead Group Life & Disability portfolios for regional accounts, managing 1,000–5,000 lives. The role focuses on pricing, renewals, and policy changes, with a strong emphasis on risk management and partner relationships.

You'll collaborate with underwriters, sales reps, and brokers to drive new business and renewals, while mentoring team members and shaping strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years of Employee Benefits experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid relationships with business partners.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of Group Life & Disability for Regional Accounts (1,000-5,000 lives).
• Handle post-sale activities, renewals, policy changes and profit management.
• Demonstrate solid technical proficiency in guidelines and risk management.
• Build solid relationships with business partners and brokers.
• Lead assigned project work and special assignments with the team.
• Collaborate with field to ensure service goals are met.
• Quote new business opportunities and underwrite renewals.
• Work with sales reps and brokers on new business and service issues.
• Analyze pricing factors including risk, retention and reinsurance.
• Mentor Regional Account underwriters and staff; leverage key cases.

Experience

• Responsible for the overall management of Group Life & Disability reputed company (1,000-5,000 lives) for Regional Accounts.

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).Candidates who do not live near an office will have aremote work schedule, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs reputed company.
