Job summary

Aurum Talent Solutions is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for an e-commerce startup in India to lead technology strategy and execution. You will drive scalable architecture, guide a large engineering team, and own platform security and performance, with a focus on ONDC integration.

You will shape the AI-driven product roadmap, partner with investors, and ensure alignment with business goals while maintaining a startup execution mindset.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years in technology leadership or equivalent.
• Experience scaling marketplaces, fintech, e-commerce or SaaS platforms.
• Experience growing products to 1M+ users.
• Led large engineering teams (multi-hundreds).
• Strong API, architecture, and security focus.

Role:

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - for E-Commerce startup

Organization:

E-commerce startup

Experience:

• 12 to 18 years in technology leadership.
• Previously built or scaled a marketplace, fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS platform.
• Experience growing products to 1M+ users.
• Led engineering teams of 30100+ engineers.

Technical Expertise:

• Expertise in Marketplace Platforms : ONDC / Beckn Protocol, E-commerce architecture, Order management systems, Catalog management, Merchant onboarding, Recommendation engines.
• Exp in Cloud & Infrastructure tools like AWS, Azure, or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, API Gateway etc.
• Programming concepts in Java, Python, Node.js, React, Flutter.
• Databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• AI & Machine Learning : Recommendation systems, Personalization, Fraud detection, Trust scoring, Large Language Models (LLMs), Predictive analytics.
• Payments & Fintech : UPI, Payment gateways, Split settlements, Digital wallets, Ledger systems, PCI DSS awareness.
• Security : OAuth 2.0, JWT, Encryption, API security, Identity management, Fraud prevention.
