Job summary

Aignosis is seeking a CTO to own and scale the entire technology function, setting architecture and AI strategy, and leading the engineering team. This role blends hands-on AI with high-level leadership in a fast-moving startup focused on healthcare AI for child health and development.

You will bridge demos and production systems, ensuring reliability, security, and rapid delivery while engaging with clinical stakeholders and non-technical founders. Jaipur on-site role with equity options.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Company: Aignosis – Healthcare AI for Child Health & Development

Location: Jaipur (on-site)

Type: Full‑time, Senior Leadership

Reports to: Co‑Founders

Responsibility: Owns and scales the entire Tech function

Compensation: Base + ESOPs (equity) + Perks.

About Aignosis

Aignosis has built India’s first CDSCO‑approved AI-based autism screening tool, incubated at IIMA & AIIMS Delhi, and backed by WTFund. It was featured on Shark Tank India Season4.

The Role

You will be the technical owner of everything Aignosis ships—setting architecture and AI strategy, making build decisions, and hiring/leading the engineering team. This is a hands‑on‑to‑hands‑off leader who can dive deep into AI, build the platform around it, and be accountable for reliability, security, and delivery speed in a fast‑moving startup.

You should understand modern AI beyond buzzwords, having deployed production models and bridging the gap between demos and production systems.

Must‑Have Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a track record of shipping real products (not just prototypes)
• Startup experience in resource‑constrained, fast‑iterating, early‑stage environments
• Hands‑on AI/ML production: deployed models into live products and managed data pipelines, evaluation, latency, and failure modes
• Full‑stack platform architecture: design and lead delivery of web apps, mobile, dashboards, and APIs
• Third‑party integration: payment gateways, messaging APIs, e‑sign, scheduling, CRM
• Sound security & data‑privacy instincts: responsible handling of sensitive data from Day1
• Leadership: hire, mentor, set direction for a small team, and communicate clearly with non‑technical co‑founders and clinical stakeholders

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Computer vision, video, or speech/audio ML experience
• Marketplace or tech payment‑splitting/payout architecture experience
• Healthtech/medical‑device/regulatory experience (CDSCO, SaMD, HIPAA, DPDP)
• Clinical/diagnostic AI and human‑in‑the‑loop review systems
• LLM‑based tooling and RAG for product features or internal automation
• Prior CTO / founding‑engineer / tech‑lead title at a startup
