Job summary

Scc Infrastructure is looking for a dedicated HSE professional to develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies for building construction sites.

You will lead safety planning, conduct audits, investigate incidents, perform risk assessments, and train staff and contractors to ensure compliance with laws, client requirements, and internal standards. This role reports to the site safety team and aims to raise project safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety management systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws, regulations, and client requirements.
• Lead safety planning for building construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and compliance reviews.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Monitor work permit systems for high-risk activities.
• Organize safety induction, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and compliance with safe work practices.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, mock drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Review contractor safety performance and ensure HSE compliance.
• Prepare and submit HSE reports, KPIs, and statutory documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities on safety matters.
• Lead and mentor the site safety team to achieve project safety objective
