Job summary

Resonia Limited in India is seeking a Chief Manager - Projects (SS) to lead end-to-end substation construction for 765KV projects, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and site teams to meet milestones.

The role emphasizes quality, EHS compliance, cost control, and strong leadership of the site team to drive safe, on-time execution while engaging with district authorities and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing large-scale electrical substation projects.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Familiarity with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end substation construction activities at site to ensure completion as per approved project timelines and milestones.
• Monitor and control subcontractor performance, including resource deployment, productivity, work fronts and timely resolution of execution constraints.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, EHS and statutory requirements throughout site construction and drive closure of observations/non-conformities.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, subcontractors, consultants and customers for seamless execution.
• Monitor project costs, site overheads, variations and claims within the approved budget and delegated authority.
• Drive site reviews and timely decision-making, ensuring actions, MoMs and commitments are tracked to closure.
• Lead and develop the site team, building a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, safety and execution excellence.

Purpose of Role

To monitor and construct Substation project at 765KV , end to end project execution but not limited to dealing with District admin and locals.
