Resonia is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Project Execution to lead end-to-end Transmission Line and Substation projects from construction readiness through testing and handover. You will drive integrated planning, risk, and governance, delivering on schedule, budget, quality and safety targets across TL and SS portfolios.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage contractor performance, and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements, while expanding leadership

Competenze

• 15+ years of experience in power transmission/project execution.
• Experience in EHV projects including 400 kV and GIS/AIS substations.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management desirable.

Position Title

Assistant Vice President - Project Execution

Position Summary

Responsible for end-to-end delivery of Transmission Line (TL) and Substation (SS) projects from construction readiness through testing, commissioning and handover. The role owns integrated project performance across schedule, cost, quality, EHS, contractor delivery, risks and stakeholder interfaces, while leading cross-functional project teams to achieve committed business outcomes

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of integrated Transmission Line and Substation projects, ensuring achievement of construction, testing, commissioning and handover milestones as per the approved project schedule.
• Own integrated project planning across TL, SS, Engineering, Procurement, ROW, Land, Quality and EHS, proactively managing critical paths, interfaces and dependencies.
• Drive project financial and commercial performance through budget adherence, cash-flow discipline, site overhead control, variation and claim management, and cost optimization.
• Lead contractor and partner performance, ensuring timely mobilization, adequate resources, productivity, work-front availability and closure of execution bottlenecks.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, EHS, statutory and contractual requirements across all project work fronts, with strong governance and timely closure of deviations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks related to ROW, land, approvals, engineering, supply chain, contractors, construction and commissioning.
• Lead project governance and stakeholder management with customers, authorities, contractors, consultants and internal functions to enable timely decisions and issue resolution.
• Build and lead a high-performing project organization, strengthening ownership, collaboration, capability and execution discipline across TL and SS teams.

Critical Success Factors - Desirable

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering; postgraduate qualification in Project Management/Management desirable.
• 15+ years of experience in power transmission/project execution with substantial leadership exposure across both Transmission Line and Substation projects; experience in EHV projects, including 400 kV and above TL and GIS/AIS substations, preferred.
