Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee the EHS management system and culture for railway projects. The role involves checking compliance for corporate, legal, and project EHS requirements and preparing on-site emergency plans and EHS MIS as directed.

You will support line management in implementing ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, raise awareness of Environment, Health & Safety among all employees, and coordinate site visits to ensure compliance while driving corrective actions with the

Qualifications

• Maintain EHS management system and culture for Railway Project.
• Check compliance for Corporate / Legal / Project EHS requirements for Railway projects.
• Conduct & prepare on site Emergency Plans, MMR, EHS MIS as per Corporate EHS directives.
• Support line management in implementing ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
• Create Environment, Occupational Health & Safety awareness amongst all employees.
• Support the Site Manager to implement EHS policy in all site operations without compromise.
• Responsible for visiting predefined number of sites/units to ensure compliance.
• Take actions to close non-compliances with project team support.
• Daily site inspections of unsafe acts/conditions.
• Monthly reporting to customer & corporate requirements.
• Prepare EHS plan as per customer requirement.
• Prepare HIRA & JSA as per site activities.
• Motivational/Awareness program for workers, engineers.
• Coordinate EHS communications (newsletter monthly, events/campaigns/circular).

Responsibilities
