Chief Financial Officer

Reporting to: Managing Director

Direct Reportees: Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, Taxtion/Legal compliance Manager

Team size: Accounts and Finance team including direct reportees shall be about 15 employees.

Location: Anand / Baroda

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: 15+ years, and at least 3 years in a leading role as CFO
• Qualifications: CA, CPA and MBA preferred

Industry Experience and Capabilities

Preferred experience in industries:

• Should have worked for a substantial period in companies involved in manufacturing of Solar Panels, Solar equipment, Light engineering entailing large volume manufacturing, Machinery Manufacturers, Motors, Gearboxes/Mechanical power transmissions, Pumps/Valves, Compressors, Hydraulic or Pneumatic tools/equipment, Electrical goods, Batteries, Switchgear, Transformers, White goods, Auto component manufacturing, etc.
• Capacities: Strong finance-based analytical skills. Experience in handling audits, cost reduction exercises, setting up and monitoring financial control systems.
• Experience and awareness of Mergers & Acquisitions, fund raising through private equity and capital markets and public listing.
• Expertise in valuation and management of inventory, receivables and working capital.
• Ability to engage with investors and organise investor meets.
• Should also be well versed in various types of taxation and legal compliance requirements.
• Should have the requisite communication skills to engage with external investors, bankers, legal advisors, financiers and internally with different operating teams.
