Job summary

Raj Process Equipments and Systems Pvt Ltd in Baner, Pune seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function, drive strategic planning, working capital management, and capital allocation across the group.

You will partner with promoters and senior management to optimize cash flow, strengthen financial controls, oversee tax compliance and risk management, and support expansion plans for process plant equipment manufacturing.

Qualifications

• CA qualification is mandatory.
• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in CFO or senior finance leadership in manufacturing.

Position: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function across the group. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning and control, working capital management, cost optimization, capital allocation, compliance, risk management, and supporting strategic business growth.

The role will involve close coordination with the promoters and senior management to strengthen financial discipline, improve cash flows, optimize working capital, and support the group's expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Cost Control

• Oversee plant-level budgeting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cost accounting, including raw materials, manufacturing costs, and overheads.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.
• Strengthen financial controls and performance monitoring across manufacturing units.

2. Working Capital & Inventory Management

• Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.
• Reduce capital locked in slow-moving and aging inventory.
• Review inventory aging reports and implement corrective measures.
• Review supplier and contractor accounts.
• Optimize accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.
• Strengthen collection and credit-control processes.

3. Strategic Growth & Capital Allocation

• Work closely with the promoters and executive team on business expansion and facility upgrades.
• Evaluate CAPEX proposals, ROI, payback, and financial feasibility.
• Provide financial analysis and scenario planning for strategic business decisions.
• Support the financial evaluation of new projects and expansion initiatives.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure strict adherence to applicable tax laws, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee internal audits and implementation of audit observations.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and risk-management systems.
• Oversee periodic inventory verification and reconciliation across plants.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• CA qualification is compulsory.
• 1015 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a CFO / senior finance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, working capital management, inventory management, CAPEX evaluation, taxation, audits, and financial controls.
• Experience managing finance operations across multiple manufacturing locations will be preferred.
