Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks a Dy. Chief Track Design & Specification Engineer to lead design for high-speed rail and metro projects. You will coordinate track geometry, standards, interfaces with rolling stock, and signaling, driving technical excellence across bids.

The role requires a Graduate in relevant Engineering with 20+ years of overall experience and at least 7+ years on relevant projects. You will mentor teams, develop ITPs, and oversee procurement for track components as part of winning

Qualifications

• Graduate in relevant Engineering.
• Total 20+ years of experience with at least 7+ years on relevant projects.

Responsibilities

• Geometry Approval: Authorizing horizontal/vertical alignments and cant design for high-speed stability and passenger comfort.
• Technical Standards: Drafting and vetting specifications for rails, fastening systems, and specialized turnouts/crossovers.
• System Integration: Managing critical interfaces between track, Rolling Stock (kinematic envelope), and Signaling (Track Circuits).
• Interface Coordination: Aligning track loads and vibration mitigation with structural and tunnel designs.
• Quality & Safety: Establishing ITPs for rail welding and grinding, ensuring CMRS safety certification.
• Strategic Oversight: Managing procurement of track components and overseeing ballastless track installation methodology.

Missions/Main Duties
