Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Chennai is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Manager to oversee upgrades and modernization of HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, elevators, water treatment and safety systems across multiple sites.

You will lead retrofit and automation projects to boost efficiency, manage vendor performance, budget Capex, and ensure smooth operational readiness during transitions of new or acquired buildings.

Responsibilities

• Manage upgrades of HVAC, electrical systems, DG sets, elevators, STP, BMS, Fire & Safety and plumbing.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, retrofit, and automation projects to improve efficiency and asset life.
• Handle technical transition and handover of new/acquired buildings, ensuring smooth operational readiness.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments, risk analysis, snag closure, and documentation reviews.
• Act as the escalation point for major equipment breakdowns and drive root cause analysis.
• Supervise Infra Engineers across multiple sites and ensure effective team performance.
• Manage and monitor OEM/AMC vendors to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Prepare and manage Capex budgets, lifecycle planning, MIS reports, and CAM inputs.
• Review critical equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
