Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the engineering department across multiple real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee the engineering department, including engineers, designers, and technical staff, across multiple real estate projects.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Take ownership of the technical aspects of real estate development projects, from conceptual design through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and schedule.
• Collaborate closely with senior management, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions meet client needs and project specifications.
• Oversee the development and review of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the engineering team, setting measurable objectives and driving continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and safety.
• Lead the risk management process for engineering-related issues, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure that all engineering activities are performed within the legal, environmental, and regulatory framework.
• Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize costs while maintaining engineering quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external contractors, vendors, regulatory authorities, and other partners to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and trends in the construction and real estate industries, promoting the adoption of new tools, methodologies, and innovations.
• Oversee the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the engineering department in senior leadership meetings, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in construction engineering, project execution, and technical leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior management or department head role within the real estate or infrastructure industry.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects from concept to completion.
