Job summary

Fuller Technologies is seeking a Sr. Purchase Specialist to support sourcing and procurement across the global supply chain, focusing on quality, price, delivery terms, and sustainability in compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities include evaluating requisitions, conducting supplier evaluations, negotiating terms, and managing end-to-end procurement processes while collaborating with Sales, Engineering and Expediting teams to meet KPIs and drive cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.
  • 8–10 years of purchasing experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to optimize purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain purchasing strategies to ensure reliable supply of goods, materials, supplies, and equipment at competitive prices.
  • Evaluate the purchasing environment, including supplier market conditions, pricing trends, and procurement processes.
  • Manage all steps of the procurement process, including preparing specifications, issuing RFPs, supplier selection, and administering contracts.
  • Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible price and terms, while meeting quality standards and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback to improve supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate purchasing activities into overall business operations.
  • Conduct regular reviews of purchase orders, invoices, and payments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on purchasing activities, including vendor information, transaction history, and cost analysis.

Job description

As a Sr.Purchase Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the full scope of Sourcing and procurement processes by providing the best conditions in terms of quality, price, delivery terms, technology and sustainability in accordance with guidelines and all in compliance with local as well as group regulations and procedures.

  • Examine and analyze departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Commercial and technical knowledge in offer evaluations.
  • Effective negotiation, finalization, and cost optimization
  • Should be capable of building relationship with Sales, Engineering, Expediting and other stake holders.
  • Should be capable of supporting to meet the team KPI and individual KPI.

Good Oral & Written communication skills in English.

You will be part of Service Procurement -EMEA -Region, Global Supply Chain, Cement which supports Service procurement. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges. This department works closely with both our internal and external customers to ensure Fuller Technologies cement spare parts are on time delivery and help customer satisfaction.

What you bring

Experience in the fields of spare parts purchasing .

Solid commercial and financial understanding.

Understanding of technical specification & drawings in purchase orders.

Planning and Organizing

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Expert in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Hands-on experience with ERP-systems

Fair idea of basic commercial and financial understanding – desirable

Good knowledge of P2P - Procure to Pay process flow - desirable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering.

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in purchasing role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations to optimize purchasing decisions.
