Job summary

JobItUs in Dahej, Gujarat seeks an R&D Executive for Pharma API with 2+ years of hands-on experience in API/intermediate manufacturing. A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry is required, with strong practical lab skills and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reaction processes as per plan and analyze raw materials, in-process reaction intermediates, and final products.
• Independently plan, set up, monitor, and work up chemical reactions.
• Purification of products using crystallization techniques.
• Handling hazardous chemicals safely.
• Experience in scale-up of R&D-developed products from laboratory scale to plant scale.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and analytical records.
• Prepare Process Development Reports (PDRs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
• Hands-on experience in autoclave reactions and hydrogenation processes.
• Should possess excellent practical laboratory skills and a strong understanding of chemical reaction handling and safety.

URGENT HIRING – R&D EXECUTIVE | PHARMA API

Job Location: Dahej, Gujarat
Experience: 2+ Years

Industry: Pharma API / Pharma Intermediate Manufacturing

Job Requirements

• Candidates must have hands-on experience in Pharma Intermediate or API manufacturing.

• Experience in R&D activities, process development, process optimization, scale-up, and technical documentation.

• Should have strong practical laboratory skills and hands-on experience in chemical reactions.

Major Skills Required

1. Carry out reaction processes as per the provided plan and analyze raw materials, in-process reaction intermediates, and final products.

2. Independently plan, set up, monitor, and work up chemical reactions.

3. Purification of products using different crystallization techniques.

4. Handling hazardous chemicals such as chloro compounds, Raney Nickel, Pd/C, bromo compounds, AlCl₃, sodium hydride, etc.

5. Experience in scale-up of R&D-developed products from laboratory scale to plant scale.

6. Maintain accurate laboratory records and analytical records.

7. Prepare Process Development Reports (PDRs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).

8. Hands-on experience in autoclave reactions and hydrogenation processes.

9. Should possess excellent practical laboratory skills and a strong understanding of chemical reaction handling and safety.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with practical experience in API / Intermediate R&D, process development, reaction optimization, crystallization, hydrogenation, and scale-up activities will be preferred.
