SAHYADRI FARMS POST HARVEST CARE LTD is seeking a quality control analyst responsible for testing and analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with defined quality and food safety standards.

The role involves conducting chemical and physical testing, handling samples, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, recording results, and supporting investigations into deviations, complaints, product trials and process validation.

Qualifications

• Tests conducted align with approved specifications and test methods.
• Handling of samples follows defined procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Record and report test results accurately, including deviations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct chemical and physical testing of RM, PM, in-process and finished products as per approved specifications and test methods.
• Test parameters such as pH, TSS, acidity, moisture, viscosity, colour, density, salt, sugar and other applicable parameters.
• Collect, identify, handle and store samples as per defined procedures.
• Operate, clean and maintain laboratory instruments and ensure timely calibration/verification.
• Maintain laboratory chemicals, reagents, standard solutions and testing materials properly.
• Record test results accurately and immediately report out-of-specification results or deviations.
• Maintain laboratory records, test reports, COA and sample traceability.
• Support investigation of quality deviations, customer complaints, product trials and process validation.
• Follow GMP, GLP, food safety, laboratory hygiene and safety requirements.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals, samples and laboratory waste.
