Job description

The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for performing analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, stability samples, and in-process samples in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory. This requires knowledge of analytical instruments, GLP, GMP, data integrity, documentation, and laboratory safety. The candidate will ensure accurate testing, timely reporting, proper sample handling, and compliance with approved specifications and regulatory standards.

• Perform routine quality control testing of raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.
• Conduct analytical tests such as assay, dissolution, impurities, moisture, pH, and related evaluations.
• Operate instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, dissolution apparatus, and other laboratory equipment.
• Prepare standards, reagents, mobile phases, buffers, and sample solutions accurately.
• Record raw data, chromatograms, worksheets, calculations, and test results as per GLP requirements.
• Review test results against approved specifications and report abnormalities to seniors.
• Follow GMP, GLP, data integrity, safety, and laboratory hygiene standards.
• Maintain instrument usage logs, calibration records, laboratory notebooks, and sample records.
• Support method verification, method transfer, and routine analytical troubleshooting when required.
• Coordinate with QA, production, warehouse, and stability teams for sample testing requirements.
• Participate in investigations related to OOS, OOT, deviations, and analytical errors.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, handling, and disposal of samples, standards, and reagents.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, chemical inventory, glassware, and consumables.
• Complete assigned testing activities within defined timelines without compromising accuracy.
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities related to QC operations.
