Job summary

Comsons is seeking an SDS2 Checker in our Indian office to verify steel detailing drawings and shop models. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, verify dimensions, member marks, bolts, welds, and material details, and identify detailing errors early.

The role requires 2–3 years of SDS2 experience, strong knowledge of AISC standards, and good communication and problem-solving skills. Diploma or BE in Civil/Mechanical engineering is required; knowledge of US detailing is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as an SDS2 Checker.
• Strong hands-on experience with SDS2 software.
• Good knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes.
• Understanding of AISC standards and US steel detailing practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
