Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an experienced CAE engineer to lead structural, durability, and modal analyses for powertrain mounts and brackets. You will execute simulations using ANSYS with meshing via HyperMesh/ANSA and provide actionable recommendations to improve robustness and test correlation.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of CAE experience in automotive components, strong fatigue knowledge, and experience with PLM/documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Requires BE/BTech/ME in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 5–10 years hands-on CAE experience in automotive components/systems.
• Proficiency with ANSYS and pre/post tools (HyperMesh/ANSA) with fatigue methods and reporting.

Role Summary: Responsible for CAE analysis and simulation support for powertrain mounts and brackets components/systems. Execute structural, stiffness, modal, and durability analyses using ANSYS with meshing via HyperMesh/ANSA. Provide actionable recommendations to improve robustness, support correlation with test results, and assist issue closure.

Required Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5–10 years hands-on CAE experience in automotive components/systems.
• Proficiency with ANSYS and pre/post tools (HyperMesh/ANSA); understanding of fatigue methods and reporting.
• Good understanding of load paths, materials, joining methods, and correlation mindset.
