Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage and oversee the organizations accounting, taxation, audit, and banking activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, tax compliance, audits, and banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial records.
- Handle General Ledger (GL) accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including customer invoicing, collections, outstanding balances, and receivables reconciliation.
- Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor invoices, payment processing, vendor reconciliations, and timely settlement of outstanding liabilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, including preparation of required schedules and documentation.
- Manage banking activities, including banking facilities, transactions, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, vendors, customers, and other external stakeholders as required.
- Monitor financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, receivables/payables aging reports, and other management reports, and provide financial insights to management.
- Identify and resolve accounting, reconciliation, receivables, payables, and compliance issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in Accounts and General Ledger (GL) management.
- Hands-on experience in tax filing and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling internal/statutory audits.
- Strong knowledge of banking facilities and banking operations.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
