Maheshwari & Company in Delhi seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Accounts & Finance team, oversee accounting operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and serve as the primary client contact on financial matters.

You will guide the accounts team, coordinate with auditors and tax consultants, manage GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory filings, and drive improvements in controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with CA designation.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or client management.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements, MIS, and management reports.
• Handle client accounts and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Act as the primary contact for client queries related to accounts, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Review and ensure timely GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external professionals whenever required.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, and other financial activities.
• Identify accounting issues and provide practical financial solutions to clients and management.
• Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
• Review the team's work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare financial analysis and provide insights to management for business decision-making.
• Ensure deadlines for client deliverables, statutory filings, and internal reporting are consistently met.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or client management.

• Experience in leading or managing an accounts team.
• Excellent client-handling and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
