Promptitude Accounting Services is seeking Senior Accountant / Finance Professional (Contract – Big 4 opportunity) to lead end-to-end accounting operations in Kolkata. The role requires CA / CA Inter / Non-CA with hands-on experience in financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Immediate joiners preferred, with involvement in GST and TDS processes and inter-company coordination. Salary ranges from 5 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs per year on a contract basis.

Job Summary

We are looking for CA and Non-CA finance professionals with strong experience in end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in managing accounting activities independently and possess strong communication and inter-company coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting activities, including recording and reviewing financial transactions.
• Manage books closure and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare Financial Statements and supporting schedules.
• Handle GST and TDS accounting and compliance-related activities.
• Perform bank, ledger, balance sheet, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Manage inter-company accounting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of books of accounts.
• Support audits and provide required financial information and documentation.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare MIS reports and other management reports as required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting and books closure.
• Good working knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Strong inter-company accounting and reconciliation skills.
