Job summary

Orion in Kolkata seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Compliance for multiple verticals including staffing and Facility Management. The role focuses on strengthening financial systems and processes to support future IPO/fund-raising plans.

The candidate will lead the finance/accounts team, handle GST/TDS/compliance, and coordinate with auditors, banks and regulators while ensuring robust internal controls and accurate MIS.

Qualifications

• CA with 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in accounts, GST, TDS, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Exposure to IPO readiness or listed companies is an advantage.
• Excellent Excel and ERP skills with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flows, and management MIS.
• Ensure GST compliance (GSTR-1/3B) and ITC reconciliation.
• Oversee TDS compliance, payments, returns and certificates.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulators.
• Support IPO/fund-raising readiness through due diligence and documentation.
• Lead finance and accounting team in collaboration with HR, Operations and Commercial teams.

Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage Finance, Accounts,

Taxation and Compliance for multiple business verticals including staffing and Facility Management . The role will also support strengthening financial systems and

processes for the company's future IPO/fund-raising plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, provisions, accruals and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare and review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management MIS.
• Handle GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation and monitoring of Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Manage TDS compliance, deductions, payments, returns, certificates and reconciliations.
• Oversee Income Tax, tax audit, statutory audit and other regulatory compliances.
• Manage accounting, billing and reconciliation.
• Monitor client billing, collections, receivables, payables, working capital and cash flow.
• Prepare business-wise/client-wise profitability and financial MIS.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, finance processes and SOPs.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, legal advisors and regulatory authorities.
• Support IPO/fund-raising readiness, including financial due diligence, documentation, internal controls and investor/auditor requirements.
• Lead and guide the finance/accounts team and work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations and Commercial teams.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified CA with 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Accounts, GST, TDS, taxation, audit and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of working capital, cash flow, MIS and financial controls.
• Exposure to IPO preparation, due diligence or listed/IPO-bound companies will be an advantage.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills with excellent analytical skills
