Job summary

White Force Outsourcing Services is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to head Finance & Accounts (CFO) in Jabalpur, MP. The role reports to the Director and oversees financial reporting, project accounting, taxation, working capital, banking, MIS, audits and compliance.

Strong EPC/infrastructure exposure, especially to Indian Railways/government projects, is preferred. Leadership of the F&A team, cost control, fundraising readiness, and robust SOPs are expected.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) ICAI member with relevant post-qualification experience.
• 10–15 years of finance experience in EPC/infrastructure projects.
• Strong exposure to EPC/Infrastructure/Engineering projects and government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall accounting operations and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare and review P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and MIS reports.

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function and oversee financial reporting, project accounting, taxation, working capital, banking, MIS, audits and statutory compliances. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EPC/Infrastructure/Engineering projects, preferably with exposure to Indian Railways/Government projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall accounting operations and finalization of accounts.
• Prepare/review P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Ind AS/Accounting Standards and applicable regulations.
• Drive cost optimization, financial controls and cash-flow management.
• Support management in fund raising/IPO readiness and financial planning.

2. Project / EPC Accounting

• Manage project-wise accounting, WIP, costing and profitability analysis.
• Monitor project budgets vs. actuals, revenue, expenses, margins and cost overruns.
• Review RA Bills, customer billing, certification, advances, retention and security deposits.
• Monitor subcontractor/vendor bills, deductions and recoveries.
• Coordinate with Project, Commercial, Purchase and Site teams.

3. Railway / Government Project Finance

• Handle financial requirements of Indian Railways and Government projects.
• Review contracts, tenders, work orders and financial clauses.
• Monitor billing, collections, claims, deductions, EMDs and Performance Bank Guarantees.
• Analyse project/tender financial viability and project economics.

4. Taxation & Compliance

• Oversee GST, TDS and Income Tax compliance and reconciliations.
• Review GST returns, ITC reconciliation, e-invoicing and e-way bills.
• Handle tax/GST notices, assessments and departmental correspondence.
• Coordinate Statutory, Tax, Internal and GST Audits.

5. Banking, Treasury & Working Capital

• Manage cash flow, working capital and fund-flow requirements.
• Liaise with banks and financial institutions.
• Manage BGs, Performance Guarantees, EMDs, LCs, CC/OD limits and other banking facilities.
• Monitor receivables, payables and optimize working-capital utilization.

6. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare and present Project Profitability, Budget vs Actual, Receivables/Payables Ageing, Cash Flow, Working Capital, Order Book, EBITDA/Gross Margin and Monthly MIS.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and cash flow.

7. Team Leadership & Controls

• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.
• Establish effective accounting, approval, internal-control and SOP systems.
• Improve automation, reporting efficiency and financial discipline.

Candidate Profile

Mandatory:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) ICAI Member.
• 1015 years of relevant experience with substantial post-qualification exposure.
• Strong experience in EPC / Infrastructure / Engineering / Construction / Project-based businesses.

Preferred:

• Experience with Indian Railways/Government projects.
• Exposure to HVAC, MEP, Elevators & Escalators.
• CMA/MBA Finance or additional relevant qualification.
