Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead statutory and tax audits, coordinating with external auditors and authorities.
• Review and finalise accounts and financial statements prepared by the team.
• Mentor a team of junior/senior accountants, ensuring quality and timely client deliverables.
• Coordinate with consulting teams and clients to provide strategic financial and tax inputs.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.

Role Description

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead compliance, audit, and international tax functions for our client portfolio. The CA will be responsible for overseeing GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, managing audits. This role also involves leading and mentoring a small team of accountants, ensuring quality and timeliness across client deliverables. Exposure to foreign/international work environments and client structures will be an added advantage. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accurate, timely compliance with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations
• Lead statutory and tax audits, including liaison with external auditors and authorities
• Review and finalise accounts and financial statements prepared by the team
• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of junior/senior accountants, reviewing their work and building their capabilities
• Coordinate with consulting teams and clients to provide strategic financial and tax inputs
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarks
• Support and advise on matters involving foreign entities, jurisdictions, or international client structures

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in compliance, audit, and taxation
• Demonstrated experience in international tax matters and cross-border compliance
• Prior experience leading or supervising a team
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and audit processes
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience in international tax matters and cross-border compliance
• Exposure to foreign/international work environments, clients, or engagements is a plus
