Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Fresh CA or 12 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of monthly and annual financial accounts.
• Maintain and review General Ledger and accounting records.
• Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statement.
• Monitor daily and monthly cash flow positions.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and treasury-related activities.
• Review accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for statutory and internal audits.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and other professional advisors.
• Assist in statutory, tax and regulatory compliance matters.
• Ensure timely filing of applicable statutory returns and payments.
• Review provisions, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Support preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
• Maintain proper accounting controls and documentation.
• Assist the Finance Manager in other finance and accounting matters as required
