Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong accounting experience in education institutions
• Experience in statutory compliance, budgeting, audits, taxation and financial reporting
• Experience in school fee accounting, receivables, collections, refunds and reconciliations
• Ability to coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants and government authorities
• Maintain internal financial controls and provide MIS reports to management

Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting and financial operations for company/school entities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle school fee accounting, receivables, collections, refunds, and reconciliations
• Prepare annual budgets and monitor expenses against budgets
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning
• Ensure accurate accounting of salaries, vendor payments, school expenses, and costs
• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants and authorities for filings and audits
• Ensure timely completion of audits and filings
• Establish and monitor internal financial controls
• Review vendor invoices and payments with supporting documents
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management
• Provide financial insights for decision-making
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes
• Maintain documentation across entities
