The incumbent will sign the balance sheet, implement accounting systems, and ensure compliance with the state revenue service. Strong communication and a stable track record are essential, with CPA certification and Articles completed. The role requires managing the full financial process, preparing monthly financial reports, and guiding junior team members on tax and accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Completion of Articles is required.
• 5 years post article experience is expected.
• Registration with accredited statutory body and association (CA/CPA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Should have experience in a manufacturing company and signing balance sheets.
• Coordinate with tax department for tax planning and special projects.
• Assist with income tax preparation and planning with accounts team.
• Represent clients during IRS/State audits and other audits.
• Review tax forms and advise junior team members.
• Research and resolve tax and accounting issues for the firm.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Oversee audit, statutory audit, GST input/output, P&L, and filing challans; manage TDS and balance sheet.

Role & responsibilities

• Work closely with the tax department to ensure performance of tax planning, client interaction and special projects
• Collaborate with accounts team on income tax preparation and planning
• Represent clients with IRS, State or other audits
• Review completed tax forms and provide recommendations to junior members of team when needed
• Research and resolve tax and accounting issues affecting our firm
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a highly qualified chartered accountant with years of experience to lead a team of accountants. The chartered accountant is responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports & signing the balance sheet, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the state revenue service.

To be successful as a chartered accountant, you should possess a stable working track record, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be highly knowledgeable in the broad spectrum of accountancy accounting practices. You should also be certified and accredited with the relevant association and governing body.

Chartered Accountant Responsibilities:
