Job summary

Vidunit Media in Mumbai is seeking a senior Character Designer/Concept Artist to craft original characters, environments and props for 2D animated TV shows. You will develop turnaround sheets and visual references, aligning with the show's look and production needs.

The role requires expert drawing skills, strong anatomy and perspective, and the ability to collaborate with directors and animation teams to realize creative concepts on time.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in Character Design/Concept Art, preferably in 2D animation.
• Good understanding of character expressions, poses, proportions and design principles.
• Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 25 years of experience in Character Design/Concept Art, preferably in 2D animation.
• Strong drawing, anatomy, perspective and visual storytelling skills.
• Good understanding of character expressions, poses, proportions and design principles.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, or similar software.
• Ability to work in an established art style as well as develop new visual concepts.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
