Job summary

HD Supply | Global Technology Center seeks an IT Change Management professional to support the movement of changes through build, test, and production environments. • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline with 2–5 years experience; MS/MA with 2–4 years is also acceptable.
• Experience with the change deployment process in SAP.
• Experience with the change request process in ServiceNow, Active Control, or ChaRM.

Responsibilities

• Assists the technical change management team in protecting and managing the movement of IT changes through build, test, and production environments.
• Communicates and documents changes to the technical change management team.

• Supports the cross-functional coordination of technical change management activities and adheres to technical change management processes.
• Implements technical change management strategies across IT departments. Provides risks to technical change management teams.
• Supports and leverages the technical change management solution suite of tools.
• Supports teams by ensuring changes are interpreted and documented. Keeps documentation up to audit standards and provides updates to management regarding change scheduling conflicts.
• Adheres to technical change management practices by participating in formal and informal training sessions. Gathers and report team feedback and metrics to the technical change management team.

Nature and Scope

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.


• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.


• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.


• Experience with the change deployment process in SAP.


• Experience with the change request process in ServiceNow, Active Control, or ChaRM.
