As an organisation, we foster creativity, continuous learning and inclusivity, creating an environment where bold ideas thrive and make a measurable difference in people’s lives.

Your Mission

We are hiring a Change & Communication Manager to tell the story of a technology organization’s programs, projects and services at a global pharmaceutical company. You will create articles and other materials that explain what these teams deliver and why it matters, so they can be shared with other teams across the company and with the leadership team.

This is a writing-led role, closer to internal marketing than to traditional change management. Good work often goes unnoticed because nobody has written it up in a way people want to read. You will work with program and project teams to gather facts, outcomes and stories, turn them into clear and engaging content, and shape each piece for the audience that will read it, from colleagues who use a service to the senior leaders who fund it.

Most of your time goes into writing. The rest goes into adapting each message for its audience and planning communications around launches and changes, so that good writing reaches the right people at the right time.

What You’ll Do
Create Articles and Materials
  • Write articles, news stories and updates about programs, projects and services, explaining technical work in plain language for a broad audience.
  • Create supporting materials that teams can share, such as presentations, one-pagers, newsletters and intranet content.
  • Turn program milestones, launches and results into stories that show the value delivered, using examples and quotes from the people involved.
Communicate with Leadership
  • Prepare materials for the leadership team: summaries, briefings and updates on progress and outcomes.
  • Adapt one message for different audiences, keeping the detail for teams and the headline for leaders.
Work with Program and Project Teams
  • Interview program owners, project leads and subject-matter experts to gather facts, outcomes and stories.
  • Check content for accuracy with the right owners and take it through review and approval before it is shared.
  • Manage a steady flow of communication requests from several teams, agreeing priorities and deadlines.
Support Change and Adoption
  • Plan communications around launches and changes, so teams know what is changing, when, and what they need to do.
  • Help build awareness and use of programs and services, and look at how content is received to improve the next piece.
What You Bring
Communication and Content
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in internal communications, marketing communications, content marketing or change communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
  • Excellent written English, with a body of work (articles, newsletters, presentations or similar) that you can share and that shows you can explain technical or complex topics to a broad audience.
  • Experience preparing communication materials for senior leaders.
  • Experience planning communications for launches or organizational change.
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your own writing and content work, while checking the output and knowing what information can go into which tools.
Ways of Working
  • Experience working with subject-matter experts to gather information and get content reviewed and approved.
  • Able to manage several requests and deadlines at once, and to work independently with limited direction.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues across regions and time zones.
Bonus Skills / Experience
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
  • Experience communicating about technology, IT or digital programs and services.
  • Familiarity with structured change management approaches.
  • Visual and design skills for presentations, graphics or simple layouts.
