Job summary

Actalent Services is seeking a CFD Modeler to work on battery CFD modeling using ANSA and STAR-CCM+. You will perform meshing and geometry cleanup, focusing on flow and thermal analysis for battery systems.

You will also develop action plans for critical issues, document checksheets, and contribute to integrating sub-Battery components while adapting to new platforms and tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as CFD modeler using ANSA and STAR-CCM+ for battery CFD applications.
• Proficient in CFD meshing for battery modules.
• Solid understanding of flow and thermal problems.
• Expertise in CFD geometry cleanup and meshing.
• Able to create and follow checksheets and present queries.
• Ability to integrate sub-Battery components.
• Willing to adopt new platforms and develop applications.
• Basic analysis knowledge in flow and thermal problems.
• Proficiency in Python, TCL, or VBA scripting.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving.
