Malabar Group is seeking to implement and oversee the merchandising strategy for Divine Collections, aligning with the broader business goals. The role focuses on stock optimization, catalog maintenance, and vendor coordination to drive growth in a heritage-inspired jewelry line.

The candidate will work with analytics to balance inventory, monitor shoots, and design assortments that resonate with regional tastes while supporting seasonal campaigns and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Implement the merchandising strategy for Divine Collections in alignment with overall merchandising and business strategy.
• Maintain the product catalogue and design bank for Divine collections.
• Design planogram and assortment mix to cater to customer preferences.
• Monitor Divine photo shoots for products so stakeholders can select the most suited product.
• Gain inputs regarding catchment preferences, peak seasons and campaigns planned through external research.
• Manage the rotation of aged/dead stock to maximize inventory turn.
• Provide inputs regarding guidelines for vendor returns of Divine collections to help finalize vendor contracts.
• Guide in determining the carrying cost of stocks at discounted price to manage slow moving products.
• Identify stock redistribution among stores through analytics dashboard for effective stock shuffling.
• Identify dead stock to be melted/returned to vendors in order to minimize MGD losses.

• Maintain the product catalogue and design bank for Divine collections.
