Job Summary
The Center & Placement Manager AI & College Connect Program will be responsible for managing end-to-end center operations and placement activities for an AI-focused skilling initiative delivered through a Hub & Spoke college model (1 Hub and 4 Spokes).
The role involves overseeing center performance, coordinating with colleges, ensuring quality AI training delivery, and driving strong placement outcomes through industry partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Center Operations & Management
- Manage daily operations of the Hub center and oversee Spoke college centers
- Ensure infrastructure readiness including AI labs, systems, software, and internet connectivity
- Monitor training schedules, trainer allocation, attendance, and assessments
- Maintain center documentation, assets, compliance records, and brand standards
- Ensure adherence to organizational SOPs, donor guidelines, and quality standards
College Connect & Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between Nirmaan, partner colleges, and training teams
- Coordinate with college management, placement officers, and faculty for smooth execution
- Support academic alignment, student engagement, and program timelines
AI Training Oversight & Quality Assurance
- Monitor AI course delivery, curriculum alignment, and assessment processes
- Coordinate pre- and post-assessments to ensure learner readiness
- Identify skill gaps and arrange remedial or enhancement sessions
- Support trainers in aligning AI content with industry requirements
Placement & Employer Engagement
- Build partnerships with AI, IT, ITES, and emerging technology employers
- Organize placement drives, campus interviews, job fairs, and virtual hiring events
- Guide students on AI career pathways, resumes, and interview preparation
- Track offer letters, joining status, and post-placement retention
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead center staff, placement coordinators, and support teams
- Conduct performance reviews and capacity-building initiatives
- Represent the organization in college meetings, donor reviews, and industry forums
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic to intermediate understanding of AI, ML, and Data Analytics concepts
- Strong center management and placement ecosystem knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital MIS tools
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and locations
