Job summary

3i Infotech is hiring a CCTC support engineer to monitor and maintain CCTV infrastructure across plant locations, ensuring uninterrupted operations of cameras and related systems.

You will diagnose camera and network issues, assist with NVR/DVR, VMS, and software updates, and perform routine hardware maintenance. Documentation of network diagrams and inventory is required to keep systems current.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day monitoring of CCTV infrastructure to ensure proper functionality across plant locations (Process, Perimeter, Gate Infra, Warehouse, SV Stations & buildings).
• Diagnosing and resolving common CCTV issues such as camera malfunctions, network connectivity, recordings, image quality, or motion events.
• Resolve CCTV control room issues including software/hardware/VMS/LED displays, faulty connectors, adaptors, etc.
• Provide technical support for CCTV cameras at plant locations including NVR/DVR, VMS, storage, and assist with passwords, basic configurations, or software updates.
• Perform basic hardware maintenance like cleaning lenses, checking connections, and ensuring correct camera positioning.
• Maintain updated inventory/asset list of the complete CCTV network infrastructure.
• Maintain diagram documentation for CCTV building-wise network layouts and port-wise LAN/WAN schemas at all plant locations.
• Provide services for device augmentation, deletion, relocation, connection, disconnection as required.

JD for CCTC support engineer

• A. Day-to-day monitoring of individual backend CCTV Infrastructure Systems (Process, Perimeter, Gate Infra, Warehouse, SV Stations & buildings) to ensure proper functionality and operations.
• B. Diagnosing and resolving common issues related to CCTV systems, such as camera malfunctions, network connectivity related problems, recordings, image quality issues, or movements etc.
• C. Shall able to resolve the issues related to CCTV Control room including Software/Hardware/ VMS / LED Displays, faulty connectors, adaptors etc.
• D. Shall provide technical support for CCTV cameras at plant locations including NVR/DVR, VMS, Storage etc. and assist with software-related issues, such as password resets, basic configuration changes, or software updates.
• E. Performing basic hardware maintenance tasks, such as cleaning camera lenses, checking connections, and ensuring proper camera positioning.
• F. Maintain an updated inventory/ asset list of complete CCTV Network infrastructure setup.
• G. Maintain an all-time updated document for CCTV building wise network diagrams with relevant details including port-wise structural cabling diagrams for LAN, WAN IP Address Schemas at all plant locations.
• H. Provide services for devices augmentation, deletion, relocation, connection, disconnection etc., as and when required.
