Job summary

Said Technologies in Pune, India seeks a skilled CCTV Support Engineer to install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems and other security equipment. The role requires hands-on field work, strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, networking basics, and a focus on delivering reliable client support.

You will install cameras, DVR/NVR systems, configure IP devices, perform preventive maintenance, and provide onsite and remote assistance while coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV systems including DVR/NVR setup and IP cameras.
• Basic networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routers.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to perform field work and client visits.
• Familiarity with access control and security is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated CCTV Support Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems and related security equipment. The candidate should have technical knowledge of CCTV systems, networking, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and surveillance systems
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to CCTV systems
• Monitor and ensure proper functioning of surveillance equipment
• Configure IP cameras, remote viewing, and networking devices
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system health checks
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
• Prepare service reports and maintain installation/service records
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and technical issues
• Support in cable laying, routing, and device setup

Required Skills

• Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR configuration, and IP cameras
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routers, switches)
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Familiarity with access control and security systems is an added advantage
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Bosch, etc.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and networking
• Field support experience preferred
