Job summary

Cyient in Hyderabad is seeking a Design Engineer – Entry to join our mechanical design team. You will work on Catia V5-based design, GD&T, and manufacturing process considerations for interiors/exteriors and Cab/Vehicle components.

The role requires 3–5 years hands-on CATIA V5 experience, proficiency in assemblies, tolerances, and PDM/SAP interoperability, with a focus on delivering robust designs for transportation and aerospace domains.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CATIA V5 design experience (3–5 years) in Part/Assembly modeling, generative shape design and surface modeling.
• Experience in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis; strong mechanical fundamentals.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes and ability to interpret customer requirements.

Technical Skills:

• Candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years hands on experience (not overall) using Catia V5on below modules

• Should have good knowledge in MS-Office applications.

• Should work on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems while in Design phase.
• Should be able to quickly adapts to projects, programs or methods based on customer feedback/requirements.
• Should be able to identify the opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service level.

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
