Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced CATIA Application Support Engineer to provide technical and functional support for CATIA-based engineering applications and related CAD/PLM environments.

This is a customer-facing role involving approximately 70% travel to customer locations. The engineer will work closely with customer engineering and IT teams to troubleshoot CATIA issues, support CAD/PLM environments, implement application changes, and ensure smooth operation of engineering applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience with CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE, good knowledge of CAD engineering processes, and experience in enterprise application support.

Key Responsibilities

CATIA Application Support

• Provide L1/L2/L3 application support for CATIA users at customer locations.
• Travel extensively to customer sites, with approximately 70% travel based on project requirements.
• Troubleshoot CATIA installation, configuration, licensing, performance, and application‑related issues.
• Analyze and resolve CATIA errors, crashes, application failures, and user‑access issues.
• Support CATIA V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE environments.
• Assist users with CATIA workbenches, commands, configurations, templates, and engineering workflows.
• Investigate issues related to CATPart, CATProduct, CATDrawing, and other CATIA data.
• Support CATIA upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and application deployments.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring application issues.

Customer Site Support

• Visit customer locations to provide on‑site CATIA/CAD application support.
• Work directly with customer engineering, design, IT, CAD, and PLM teams.
• Understand customer‑specific CAD/PLM environments and business processes.
• Perform application troubleshooting, testing, configuration, and implementation activities at customer sites.
• Support customer during CATIA implementation, migration, upgrades, and production deployment.
• Provide on‑site assistance during critical incidents and go‑live activities.
• Conduct technical discussions, issue analysis, and solution demonstrations with customers.
• Prepare and maintain customer‑specific technical documentation.

CAD / Engineering Support

• Support engineering teams working with 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Troubleshoot CAD data and interoperability issues.
• Assist with CAD standards, templates, libraries, parameters, catalogs, and configuration management.
• Support engineering teams during new product development and production activities.
• Identify opportunities for improving CAD application processes and user productivity.

Qualification Must possess an aggregate of 70% in 10th / 12th / Diploma/ BE.
