We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Category Manager with strong expertise in Plastic & Paper Primary Packaging, along with proven experience in Export Sales, International Business Development, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving category growth, expanding the customer and supplier network, developing new business opportunities, and maximizing revenue and profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of packaging products and applications, excellent commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term relationships with domestic and international customers and suppliers.
Own and drive the growth of the Primary Packaging category, covering Plastic and Paper packaging solutions.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales, revenue, profitability, and category growth targets.
Drive export sales and international business development by identifying new markets, customers, and business opportunities.
Build and nurture strong relationships with customers across FMCG, Food, Restaurant, QSR, and international markets.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard new customers, manufacturers, vendors, and strategic suppliers.
Manage end-to-end sourcing, purchase coordination, vendor negotiations, commercial terms, and supplier relationships.
Prepare and analyze cost sheets, quotations, pricing structures, and margin calculations to ensure competitive and profitable business proposals.
Understand customer requirements and work closely with internal teams and suppliers for product development, customization, sampling, and packaging solutions.
Conduct regular market, customer, competitor, and pricing analysis to identify emerging trends and new growth opportunities.
Coordinate effectively with Purchase, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless order execution and timely deliveries.
Monitor category performance, sales pipeline, margins, and business opportunities and take corrective actions where required.
Develop long-term strategic partnerships with key customers and suppliers to strengthen the company's market position.
Continuously explore opportunities for new product development, market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue enhancement.
Strong knowledge of Plastic and Paper Primary Packaging products, materials, formats, and applications.
Proven experience in Export Sales, International Business Development, or Global B2B Sales.
Experience working with FMCG, Food, Restaurant, QSR, or related industries will be highly preferred.
Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, costing, pricing, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
Strong business development mindset with a demonstrated ability to generate revenue and acquire new customers.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including cost-sheet preparation, pricing analysis, and margin calculations.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders and business priorities effectively.
