Job summary

Socomec Sas is seeking to enhance supplier management and procurement operations. The role focuses on maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms within budget constraints, and overseeing logistics and quality performance across the supply base.

Key responsibilities include RFQ management, implementing operational improvement plans, and ensuring contracts comply with group policies while maintaining up-to-date data in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational relationships with suppliers within the assigned scope.
• Negotiate supplier commercial terms to achieve budget objectives.
• Monitor and manage supplier logistics and quality performance.
• Define and oversee implementation of operational improvement plans.
• Prepare, manage, and execute requests for quotation (RFQs).
• Drive technical productivity initiatives, including VA/VE actions, to meet budget targets.
• Negotiate purchasing contracts in compliance with Group policies.
• Maintain updated supplier terms and conditions data in ERP, SRM, Supplier Portal, and other relevant systems.
• Support improvement of suppliers' ECOVADIS scores within the assigned scope.
