Mary Rush Care's The Retreat is seeking a compassionate Full Time Support Worker to join our residential care home, delivering person-centred support to adults with diverse needs and helping them live fulfilling, independent lives.

You will perform daily living activities with dignity and respect, assist with personal care, cooking and housekeeping, administer medications after training, and support residents to access activities and appointments.

Mary Rush Care is looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Full Time Support Worker to join our dedicated team at The Retreat, our residential care home providing high-quality, person-centred support to adults with a range of needs.

This is a rewarding and varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key part in helping the people we support live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives while promoting dignity, choice and respect at all times.

About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will support individuals with all aspects of daily living whilst encouraging independence and helping them achieve their personal goals.

Your Duties May Include

• Providing person-centred care and emotional support.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Supporting individuals with cooking, cleaning and daily household tasks.
• Administering medication following training and company procedures.
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, social activities and community outings.
• Attending appointments and helping individuals maintain active lifestyles.

Driving is an Essential Requirement

This position requires the successful applicant to hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving the company vehicle. Supporting our residents to access the local community, attend appointments, enjoy activities and maintain independence forms a significant part of this role. Applicants must be willing and able to drive the company vehicle regularly as part of their normal duties. Applications from candidates who are unable to drive unfortunately cannot be considered for this position.
