Job summary

Cars24 is seeking an Evaluation Engineer to inspect and evaluate used vehicles at our Firozabad/ Prayagraj operations. You will conduct technical inspections and prepare evaluation reports to support procurement and pricing decisions.

The role requires thorough knowledge of automobile systems, test drives, and accurate reporting. Field work includes local travel and adherence to company SOPs to ensure transparent vehicle evaluations.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting technical inspections of used vehicles.
• Ability to identify vehicle conditions and document findings in reports.
• Knowledge of engine, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, body and paint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles.
• Evaluate engine performance and transmission.
• Assess suspension, electrical systems, and body/paint condition.
• Assess interior quality and test drive vehicle performance.
• Use diagnostic tools and checklists for accurate assessments.
• Identify accidental history, repainting, or mechanical defects.
• Prepare detailed vehicle evaluation reports and upload findings.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations for vehicle acquisition.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Evaluation Engineer to inspect and evaluate used vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for conducting technical inspections, identifying vehicle conditions, and preparing accurate evaluation reports to support vehicle procurement and pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of used vehicles.


• Evaluate vehicle condition including:


• Engine performance


• Transmission


• Suspension


• Electrical systems


• Body & paint condition


• Interior quality


• Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance.


• Use diagnostic tools and standard checklists for technical assessment.


• Identify accidental history, repainting, or mechanical defects.


• Prepare accurate vehicle evaluation reports and upload findings into the system.


• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for smooth vehicle acquisition.


• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and quality standards.


• Maintain transparency and professionalism during customer interactions.
