Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Chennai is seeking a Capacity Management professional with 5–10 years of experience to drive server capacity planning and performance optimization. The role involves monitoring resources, creating dashboards with Splunk, and applying APM tools to prevent capacity incidents.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in midrange servers, awareness of Python automation, and familiarity with Remedy for incident management.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Midrange server capacity infrastructure.
• Monitoring capacity violations and alerting on server resources such as CPU, memory, disk, and network using various APM tools.
• Working experience on Splunk ( Creating dashboards/writing queries )
• Usage of models Server capacity forecasting
• Knowledge on Optimizing server usage/performance metrics.
• Knowledge on APM/Performance Testing/Load Balancing/Capacity Management using Tools like /Dynatrace/TSCO

Responsibilities

• Working experience on Splunk ( Creating dashboards/writing queries )
• Usage of models Server capacity forecasting
• Knowledge on Optimizing server usage/performance metrics.
