Job summary

Intellics Global Services is seeking an experienced Performance Tuning Capacity Monitoring Engineer to support enterprise IT infrastructure through proactive capacity planning, performance optimization and risk management. The role requires collaboration with infrastructure, application, security and operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and resilience.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT Capacity Management, performance monitoring, forecasting and IT governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Performance Monitoring, Capacity Planning or IT Infrastructure Management.
• Strong understanding of IT Capacity Management methodologies and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with ITIL processes (Capacity, Incident, Problem, Change).
• Knowledge of COBIT governance framework and IT controls.
• Experience in Risk, Regulatory Management and Information Security Management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data interpretation.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with global operations and support teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze infrastructure, application, database and network performance for optimal utilization and availability.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting using historical trends and business demand analysis.
• Identify bottlenecks and apply tuning across servers, apps, databases, and cloud environments.
• Develop capacity management strategies aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Establish capacity dashboards, reports, metrics and KPI tracking.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL Capacity Management processes and best practices.
• Support risk assessments and regulatory compliance for technology infrastructure and resilience.
• Apply COBIT governance to improve IT controls, processes and performance.
• Conduct statistical and quantitative analysis to predict future resource needs and risks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, operations and application support teams to optimize performance.
• Produce executive-level reports highlighting capacity trends and optimization opportunities.
• Drive knowledge sharing and guidance on performance and capacity management practices.
• Participate in incident, problem and change management to minimize disruptions.
• Recommend automation and monitoring enhancements to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related discipline


• 5 years of experience in Performance Monitoring Capacity Planning or IT Infrastructure Management


• Strong understanding of IT Capacity Management methodologies and forecasting techniques


• Experience with ITIL framework particularly Capacity Incident Problem and Change Management processes


• Knowledge of COBIT governance framework and IT control practices
