Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerMill and hyperMILL CAM software.
  • Proficiency in 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling and complex machining strategies.
  • Solid understanding of geometry creation, toolpath generation, optimization and post-processing.
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAM environments (NX/UG).
  • Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, machining parameters and tooling selection.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes and precision manufacturing.
  • Awareness of turbine blade manufacturing requirements and standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; capable of troubleshooting machining issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining programs using PowerMill and hyperMILL CAM software for complex milling applications.
  • Create and modify 3D geometries, toolpaths, and machining strategies based on engineering drawings, models, and requirements.
  • Generate and perform toolpath post-processing for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, tooling strategies, and machining parameters to meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and technical specifications to develop effective machining processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to plan, develop, and implement efficient CNC machining processes.
  • Optimize machining programs to improve cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Conduct toolpath verification and simulation to prevent collisions and errors before production.
  • Support production teams in resolving CNC programming, tooling, fixture, and machining issues.
  • Develop and maintain standardized CAM programming practices, machining methodologies, and process documentation.
  • Ensure CNC programs comply with industry standards, quality requirements and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and turbine blade materials.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize CNC machining programs using PowerMill and hyperMILL CAM software for complex milling applications.
  • Create and modify 3D geometries, toolpaths, and machining strategies based on engineering drawings, models, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Ensure CNC programs and machining processes comply with applicable industry standards, quality requirements, and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes, cutting tools, and materials used in turbine blade and precision component manufacturing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
