Job summary

Luxoft India is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements related to Calypso Finance modules. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and performing functional design within the Calypso ecosystem.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in Finance or Product control, with a strong understanding of capital market products. Expertise in Calypso Accounting and financial reporting processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Capital market products like IRD, FX, Fixed Income.
• Experience in setting up Chart of Accounts, Accounting Rules, and Accounting Books.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Calypso Finance and Accounting modules
• Work extensively on Calypso Accounting, including P&L, General Ledger (GL), and financial reporting
• Configure and support OPL (Open Product Library) for financial products and accounting rules
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, and Finance stakeholders to ensure alignment of accounting flows
• Perform functional design, gap analysis, and solution definition within the Calypso ecosystem
• Support system integration, UAT, and production issue resolution
• Ensure accurate mapping of trades to accounting entries and reconciliation processes
• Participate in release planning, change management, and production support activities
• Create and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and user guide

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ Years strong experience as a Business Analyst in Finance or Product control domain
• Strong understanding of Capital market products liket IRD, FX, Fixed Income, Pricing & Valuation of these products.
• Good experience on setting up Chart of Accounts, Accounting Rules and Accounting Books in whole sale trading.
• Basic experience in Trade Life Cycle, Settlements and Corporate actions.
• Good experience in OPL (Official P&L) configuration and customization.
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle and financial instruments (FX, MM, Derivatives, Bonds, etc.)
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional specification, and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on expertise in Calypso Accounting module (GL, P&L, accounting events, postings)
• Exposure to Liquidation, Hedge accounting
• Exposure to Calypso upgrades or migration projects
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
• Experience working in Agile/Waterfall delivery models
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
